**Your role & mis**sion****:
Reporting directly to the COO, the Group Sourcing Leader is responsible to manage the company’s sourcing activities at the Group level.
**Your main responsibilities**:
- Define the Group Sourcing strategy;
- Monitor and improve the tools and processes of the Group Sourcing function;
- Deliver Sourcing productivity performance according to cost-out objectives;
- Manage the supplier panel to improve its competitiveness (Quality, Delivery, Cost) and sustainability (Financial, Environment, Ethics);
- Lead the search for new suppliers and technological innovations;
- Manage directly the relationship with strategic suppliers;
- Manage an international team.
**Your Profile**:
- **Strong Sourcing **experience in an** industrial **context;
- **Strategic thinking**: The ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans for sourcing;
- **Negotiation**: Strong negotiation skills for negotiating contracts with suppliers and ensuring the best possible terms for McPhy;
- **Analytical skills**: The ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on that analysis for identifying cost saving opportunities and assessing the risks and benefits of different sourcing options;
- **Communication**: Need to be able to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders, including internal teams, suppliers, and senior leadership;
- **International Leadership**: Manage a team of sourcing professionals;
- **Cultural awareness**: Working with suppliers and teams in a variety of countries, it is important to have an understanding of and sensitivity to different cultures;
- **Appetite for Technology;**:
- Fluency in **English;**:
- German, French or Italian is a plus.
**Key metrics of the role**:
- **Cost savings** year on year and vs. sold costs;
- **Supplier performance** including supplier on-time delivery rate, quality of products or services, and responsiveness to issues or requests;
- **Risk management**: the number of suppliers with formal risk management plans, and the number of suppliers that have been removed due to risk concerns;
- **Innovation**: introduction of new products or processes through the sourcing process, such as the number of new suppliers introduced, or the number of new products developed with suppliers;
- **Sustainability**: the percentage of suppliers that have sustainability certifications, the number of suppliers participating in sustainability initiatives, and the reduction in the organization's carbon footprint through sourcing efforts.
