**Scope**

We are seeking a talented and motivated Graphic Designer Apprentice to join our Marketing team at Ingenico. In this role, you will work alongside experienced marketing professionals to develop creative visual concepts for our products and services.

**Responsibilities**

You will be joining us as an apprentice Multimedia and Graphics Designer for a period of one or two years and will help us explain to our clients and partners what we do. You will:

- Work with marketing teams and leverage existing brand elements to produce impactful presentations and content that can be used on-line and in face-to-face presentations (PowerPoint),
- Play a role in the design creation and layout of our Partner Portal website,
- Maintain the look and feel of our internal portal,
- Enjoy a good design challenge. Take complex ideas, and craft them into simple clear ideas and a visually appealing story,
- Follow brand principles and participate in the evolution of our style and brand,
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards,
- Create Photoshop Design File (PSDs) for visual layout of web pages and converting designs into HTML and CSS,
- Retouch and edit images,
- Shoot and edit product videos using our in-house studio and resources in conjunction with a contractual technician.

**Experience / Skills**
- You are a student pursuing a degree in graphic design, fine arts or in a related field.
- Experience with design software is preferred but not required.**Soft Skills**:

- Imagination
- Creativity, (Graphic Design, layout, infographics)
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Communication (You like to tell a story and illustrate it)

**Technical skills**:

- Experience with Adobe InDesign and Premiere Pro is preferred
- Experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and a video editing tool is nice to have.

**Additional important skills**
- You’ll be passionate about clean, cohesive design, typography, colour, and layout with strong attention to detail.
- You’re not afraid to question when direction is vague, and you know that things can change from one day to another.
- Good time management and the ability to work within an estimated timeline to meet deadlines that are agreed beforehand.
