At UnitySC, we are offering a six-month internship with our optical research and development team. This exciting opportunity focuses on advancing interferometric techniques to measure and analyse the surface topography on semiconductor wafers with a high precision.

**Your Profile**:

- Experience in optics and interferometric imaging is preferred
- Proficiency in experimental setups and optical simulation software is a plus.

**What You’ll Do**:

- The project’s main goal is to validate a prototype of a full field interferometric system designed for high-precision topography characterization on patterned wafers.
- Experimental Design and Setup: Contribute to the design and assembly of a profilometer prototype using full-field interferometric techniques.
- Experimental Validation: Develop and implement data acquisition processes on reference standards and wafers from semiconductor industry
- Data Analysis: Evaluate the system’s performance in terms of surface profiling and lateral optical resolution.

**Learning Outcomes**:

- Hands-on experience in designing and optimizing advanced optical systems.
- Develop a deep understanding of interferometric techniques for wafer surface topography analysis.
- Acquire expertise in optical simulations, data analysis, and experimental techniques in a cutting-edge R&D environment.
