**Main duties and responsibilities**

**1 **Evaluate product appearance, performance, functionality, and durability

**2 **Perform biochemical functionalisation

**3 **Perform electrochemical and biochemical testing

**4 **Ensure products meet safety requirements and environmental impact targets

**5 **Deliver test reports and provide feedback

**6 **Coordinate with other members of the team

**7 **Implementing feedback and making revisions

**8 **Maintaining lab and testing equipment regularly

**9 **Making changes in testing protocols as required

**10 **Reporting any issues through the appropriate channels

**11 **Recommending technical and procedural additions to test protocols

**12 **Maintain and adhere to standard safety policies

**Qualifications Essential Desirable**

Graduate with a degree (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent) in a relevant field such as engineering, electrochemistry, analytical chemistry or non-destructive testing

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a testing technician or similar

**Experience/Knowledge/Skills Essential Desirable**

Previous experience in product testing in a relevant field

Previous experience in electrochemical testing

Previous experience in analytical chemistry

Demonstrated ability to multi-task whilst adhering to deadlines

Ability to perform data analysis, interpretation, and reporting

Knowledge of professional (EN/ISO/TUV/ASTM/ASME) standards

Ability to improve and optimise
