**The Position**

As a result of rapid growth, this new strategic position is at the heart of the EMEA operations team while reporting directly to the Manager of Global Trade Compliance.

In this position you are the bridge that connects and translates customs & logistics compliance requirements into simpler operational processes through compliance programs to drive a smooth running, compliant supply chain cross functionally and across regionally (EMEA).

**What you’ll be doing**
- **Logistics Compliance: (vendor management)**
- Review existing logistics flows and devise a vendor management strategy in collaboration with Orolia’s procurement and customer care teams cross regionally (EMEA).
- Set KPI and performance review for all existing logistics flow cross EMEA as part of Orolia’s continuous improvement program.
- Formalize Orolia’s logistics flow and assess optimization opportunities
- **Customs Affairs**:

- Review, update and maintain Orolia’s material classification (HTS) (EMEA).
- Maintain and update Orolia’s Origin and preferential programs (EMEA).
- Review existing customs brokerage flows and devise a brokerage strategy in collaboration with internal stake holders (EMEA) aligned with Global Trade Compliance strategy.
- Review and update Material status that falls under export controls requirements (EMEA) inline with Global Export controls policy.

**What you bring to Orolia**
- Over 5 years of experience in a customs & logistics position in a forwarding or a multinational company looking after import export operations.
- Talent for process design and process simplification within import export operations.
- Proven experience in vendor management (custom brokers/Forwarders/Customs Authorities).
- Experience and knowledge working with Dual use portfolio’s and export control regulations.
- Experience and knowledge of Preferential and Origin determination applicable to EU import/exports FTA.
- Proven project management experience.

**Must Have**:

- Fluency in French & English, both written and spoken (any other language is a +).
- Significant Customs Material classification experience (HTS classification).
- Willing to be based in EU.
- Can do / Hands on mindset.
- Excellent communications skills both verbal & written
