Your challenges:

- Acting as on-demand consultant to the Customer, and as on-demand technical partner to the Account Manager & Service Technician,
- Support Sales & after Sales process using appropriate communication methods & CRM data entries, without being the owner of Opportunity Management (owned by Account Managers in SouthWest)
- Co-sharing of Area specific sales targets with local Sales Teams and European Automation Sales & Application Teams
- Participate actively in the training of local Sales Teams for gaining technical expertise in qualifying Customer demand
- Responding to Sales Team request, managing demonstration of instruments at customer's premises and/or at company's local showrooms/Headquarter.
- Support implementation of Area-specific Commercial & Marketing tactical plans, including seminars & tradeshows
- Participate systematically to the technical review of all quotations & cases related to Automation business in the Area
- Core-Team member of SW Automation Team, cross-collaboration with our European Team and Automation Business Unit in Hamburg.
- Strengthen Eppendorf brand recognition and reputation with our customers, with an attitude based

Your Expertise:

- Analysis of current and future life science workflows for Manual & Automated liquid handling product groups
- Conducting and evaluating competitive analyses and establishing on-demand user contacts to follow market trends
- Conception, implementation and evaluation of international customer tests and surveys
- Actively contribute to commercial initiatives, (CRM) reporting, activities and meetings related to Automation funnel & performance management.
- Work closely with the local sales teams and Zone Directors by bringing a full technical and applicative support related to a good understanding of Customer workflows
- Participate at local trade shows and Automation linked conferences and support of marketing and automation promotion activities
- Travel activity up to 50%

Your Profile:

- Bachelor or Master of Science, alternatively Engineering Degree
- Proven experience with life science industry customers as well as experience in product management
- Experience in Automation solution and if possible, in IT
- Analytical thinking and persuasive power as well as high customer
orientation and communication skills
- Fluent written and spoken French
- Bilingual in English
