**Areas of responsibility**:
Carry out engagement and lobby activities and intel gathering with the aim to support ERG’s business development in France. Organize events such as roundtables to position the ERG in the French market. Participate in renewables sector’ associations and at conferences to gather intel and liaise with the relevant departments/BU in ERG group.
Areas of responsibility:
- Work closely alongside colleagues covering ERG’s other key markets and the Head of International Affairs to monitor and identify issues, political developments and potential upcoming challenges for ERG;
- Manage & coordinate ERG France participation in French energy association and keep relevant internal stakeholders updated on regulatory and political developments (with specific focus on renewables);
- Form a part of ERG International Affairs team, to support the development of renewable projects in the French market;
- Plan and execute engagement campaigns on specific issue areas based on institutional needs;
- Plan and execute content creation - position papers, messaging documents, consultation responses, regulatory/legislative proposals, - often on complex topics such as energy policy, government, reform, politics;
- Support Business Development, Energy Management and other operational units with insights and data in the decision making processes;
- Possibly work towards taking over the responsibility for the German market as well.
**Studies**:
Degree
- Law / Political Sciences
- Economics / Engineering
- Master with focus on energy/environmental matters is a plus
**Work Experience**:
2-3 years+ experience in Public Affairs, Institutional
- or Government Relations, political campaigns, Business Development, Community Engagement or similar position in the energy sector, with strong focus on renewables

- French - Mother tongue
- English - Full working proficiency
- German a plus
**It Skills**:
- Proficiency at MS Office suite (teams, word, power point & excel)
**Know how & Managerial Skills**
- Knowledge of the energy sector regulation, with strong focus on renewables support mechanisms & energy/renewable sector institutional environment (including French energy associations)
- An initiator with a proactive approach to teamwork and problem-solving;
- Excellent writing, proof-reading and verbal communication skills;
- Ability to work independently and focus on one task at a time despite simultaneously juggling multiple projects;
- Skilled in research and monitoring of Parliament, Government, media and social media platforms with ability to synthesize information;
- Consistent, accurate, and structured;
- Strong interest in energy, politics, public policy and current affairs,
- Thrive in an international setting with differing views and approaches;
- Availability to travel (in France and to Italy and, possibly, Germany).
