MISSIONS AND ACTIVITIES:
The Manufacturing Simulation Technical Center was created in August 2018 to support the implementation of the Airbus Digital Strategy. The Team is in charge of delivering reliable Numerical Simulation models of Manufacturing Process. This includes Material modelling as well.

Task & accountabilities:
THE SIMULATION ACTIVITIES COVER:

- All Airbus sites, all Airbus Programs
- Additive Manufacturing
- Assembly & build stress calculations of complex structures
- CFRP & polymer processes: e.g. Draping, Resin Infusion, Curing Distortion, Bonding
- Metallic processes: e.g. Forming, Machining, drilling, Heat Treatments, W
