**Airbus Helicopters **is looking for a **Helicopter System Simulation Engineer (f/m) **to join our simulation department based in **Marignane, France.**
You will be part of a team developing modular simulation systems and simulators for all helicopter programs. With these systems, we deliver simulation capabilities for various internal and external customers **.**
As part of the system simulation team, you will be involved in the mission to deliver simulation systems for a given helicopter aiming at
- Validation of new helicopter concepts, using simulations and simulators
- Participation to the development of full flight simulators, cockpit procedure trainers and other simulation training devices
- Support of helicopter embedded system and software tests, with simulation as an enabler or test environment

Your challenges:
- Develop or lead/coordinate the developments of different system and sub-system simulations, according to the helicopter configurations and their evolutions
- Integrate the global helicopter simulation and/or the helicopter simulator and assure simulation product maturity
- Verification of global configuration match between system simulations and reference helicopters
- Contribute to the exploitation of the potential of simulations, e.g. in different simulators and helicopter system test facilities
- Possibly coordinate subcontracted activities
- Support offers for new projects
**Your boarding pass**:
- Engineering degree in aerospace engineering or similar
- Experience in system integration and test
- Background in software engineering, with focus on real time/embedded software
- Knowledge of helicopter systems and architectures
- Passion for helicopters, their functions and missions, and in particular interest for all that happens in the cockpit
- Ability to work in team with highly international environment
- Good communication skills, especially in English
