At the heart of this ambition, ENGIE’s Flexible generation and retail Business Unit is spearheading the deployment of large-scale Hydrogen and e-fuel production units in key geographies around the world.

For one of its upcoming project associated to the above ambition, ENGIE is looking to reinforce its project team with a student in **apprenticeship or “alternance” **during his **last year of Engineer course**.

Within the H2 teams you will be working in close collaboration with a Technical Project Manager on one of the major H2/e-fuel project under development.
- Participate to the regular ENGIE Hydrogen France coordination meeting and get an overall view on the ENGIE H2 activities in France and abroad.
- Collect knowledge on the new H2 and e-fuels projects and technologies;
- Assist the Technical project Manager (TPM) on specifically assigned tasks:

- Coordinate with other project/discipline members and external parties for the resolution of specific issues or performance of dedicated tasks related to project execution (organization, planning, cost estimates);
- Carry out technical design work, participate to design reviews and challenge some aspects of the plant design under development;
- Assist the TPM in the follow-up of the technical studies executed by a specialized engineering company;
- Prepare presentation on the status and progress of the on-going technical activities

- Technical knowledge around the emerging environment of green hydrogen and associated e-fuel processes
- Industrial project environment and structure in collaboration with an engineering company
- Analytical and structured, with hands-on approach: be able to suggest and implement innovative solutions to everyday problems.
- Ability to adapt to different teams, stakeholders or ways of working.
- Ability to rapidly assess and resolve problems with varying degrees of ambiguity.
- Team-player culture, demonstrating empathy and respect for people.

**Requirements**:

- You ideally combine an industrial and an R&D background.
- You are eager to learn on the emerging and exiting field of green Hydrogen project with a sensitivity to the energy transition and have a real willingness to contribute to this new chapter of our Industrial journey
- You are a good organizer, even in unexpected and multitasking circumstances.
- You have solid knowledge of chemical engineering and chemical / petrochemical processes
- You have an excellent knowledge of English with technical writing skills
- Your position during the period of apprenticeship will be based in Paris, La Défense
