**TotalEnergies**, especially the R&D of the OneTech entity, is at the heart of the development of new energies and new (e-)mobility solutions for the Company.
- Within OneTech, the projects of TotalEnergies' Fuels & Lubricants (F&L) R&D Department involve more than 200 researchers and technicians, spread over 3 sites, and cover the fields of product formulation, chemistry, analytical characterization, mechanical and electronic testing - all related to the field of (e)mobility, new energies and high-performance fluids.
- In this context, TotalEnergies is recruiting an
- **R&D Formulation Engineer - Sustainable Fuels M/F** who will be in charge of leading and carrying out product developments with low environmental impact.
- The position is based in Solaize (69, France).
- Your main missions are as follows:
- Monitor technological innovations in biofuel formulation,
- Develop methods and tests to characterize the performance of our products right up to their final use,
- Contribute to and manage internal research studies and those carried out within the framework of academic and industrial partnerships,
- Provide technical support to our businesses for products marketed today and in the future,
- Contribute to the development of the business' technical image, in particular by publishing articles in international journals and taking part in leading conferences in the field.
- Engineering degree or PhD in formulation chemistry, possibly with a thesis in the field of biofuels, with at least 5 years' experience.
- You have in-depth knowledge of chemistry and formulation, methods for characterizing fuel properties and performance, processes for producing bio-based products, European and international regulations (REACH, RED, IMO, etc.).
- You have contributed to or led R&D projects at the interface of chemistry, physical chemistry, product formulation, data processing and digital simulation.
- Minimum fluent English and intermediate French are required
