With the massive surge of electronic travel documents and national eID cards, Thales Digital & Security is supporting border agencies, government authorities and airports to exploit technology convergence to gain consistent, comprehensive border, visa management and document verification worldwide, that will:

- Offer convenience for travelers for fast and secure border crossing
- Improve border intelligence for detection and prevention, i ncluding some of the most disruptive new technologies like biometrics, machine learning, or micro services.

We're currently looking for a Project Manager to join our team You will manage the delivery of the customer's solutions and services in accordance with predefined time, quality and cost criteria and as per contract, as well as contribute in presales tasks: you will identify the customer's needs and support the pre-sales activity for the existing and new customers.

**A week in the life of a Project Manager. Main tasks**:

- Be accountable for on-time, on budget and on quality of all projects aspects in accordance with customer contract.
- Manage project risks and impacts during the project and communicate on them.
- Be the main interface for the customer, delivery team and suppliers
- Supervise and ensure quality of all deliverables part of the project (software, hardware, documentation, training, deployment, ) Implement the quality process according to in-house custom development rules
- Build the master project plan and ensure that activities comply with contractual commitments
- Capture, complete and validate the customers' requirements in the Solution Requirements Specification
- Report project progress to Thales DIS management, customers' project managers and sponsors.
- Setup project budget, track projects costs while maintaining profitability
- Manage subcontracting deliveries and contract
- Identify and support new business opportunities to existing customers.
- Identify the customers' extra-needs during the project delivery and during the support & maintenance period to increase solutions and services upsales
- Manage opportunities and change requests of Solutions and Services and coordinate offer preparation with the account manager

**Knowledge, Skills And Experience**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
- +10 years experience in similar position.
- Project management certification
- Contract Management
- Microsoft Project
- Fluent English & Spanish (French would be a plus). Availability to travel.
- Communication and Negociation skills. Crisis management
- Basic knowledge in: cryptography, smartcard, personalization solutions, Coesys solutions
