**About us**
Genesis is a respected provider of environmental and sustainability advisory services offering robust, innovative, and practical advice to the clients throughout licensing, design, installation, operations, and decommissioning. We provide environmental advisory services globally; spanning offshore and onshore, populated to remote areas, including environmentally sensitive areas.
By integrating specialist engineering skills, environmental science, in-country knowledge, and stakeholder engagement, we provide a fully rounded support service. The diverse backgrounds and experiences of our team enables us to support a wide range of environmental studies and assessments required to support projects and operations. We pride ourselves on our ability to identify appropriate approaches to tackle complex and non-routine queries.
Our experienced team of professionals offer multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of environmental science, environmental engineering, sustainability, environmental management and permitting. The Environmental & ESG Delivery Team forms part of the wider Genesis Advisory and where required, our environmental professionals have access to over 800 multi-discipline engineers internationally (and extensive further support through the wider Technip Energies group).
**What we are looking for**
Due to growth in our onshore projects portfolio, many of which are related to Energy Transition (such as Biofuels, Carbon Capture, Utilisation & Storage (CCUS), and Hydrogen production) we are looking for an Environmental Study Manager; a role which combines environmental study preparation with line management responsibilities. The role requires knowledge and experience related to onshore environmental regulation and permitting of industrial facilities.

**Key Responsibilities:
The role combines:
- Providing environmental input to projects through guidance and preparation of studies and assessments;
- Leading environmental studies and projects, acting as the main contact on technical and commercial matters;
- Collaborating with the wider Environmental and ESG team to plan and deliver studies and assessments;
- Liaison with Environmental & ESG Delivery Manager and other Environmental Study Managers to coordinate allocation of appropriate personnel across a range of projects (accounting for existing skills and learning opportunities);
- Providing leadership and line reporting to a team of environmental consultants, engineers and scientists;
- Development and retention of talent within their team; motivating team members to meet personal and business targets;
- Interfacing with clients; _and _
- Proposal input and preparation.
Studies and assessments may typically include:
- Preparation of Environmental Basis of Design;
- Identification and interpretation of relevant environmental regulations and standards;
- Leading and participating in ENVID workshops (Environmental aspects Identification);
- Development of environmental aspects and impacts registers;
- Environmental impact assessment; _and _
- Best Available Technique (BAT) assessments.
**Required Skills**:
The successful applicant must
- Have knowledge of global onshore environmental legislation and standards;
- 7 years minimum industry and / or research experience
- Have project management experience on small to medium projects;
- Have experience in client relationship building;
- Be a strong team player;
- Fluent English speaker, with French language an added advantage
- Be well-motivated and able to work to tight deadlines;
- Have excellent written skills with attention to detail.
