Core Biogenesis leverages the scalability of plants to simplify and accelerate the mass-production of sustainable, high-performance molecules used today in Cultured Meat and Cellular Therapy and a new generation of biopharmaceuticals.

Core Biogenesis is a rapidly scaling biotechnology startup, based in Paris and Strasbourg, France.

Founded in 2020 by Chouaïb Meziadi and Alexandre Reeber, it is backed by some of the best European investors including Entrepreneur First, Blue Horizon and XAnge.

We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join and lead our HR department. You will work alongside our Head of Operations.

Your responsibilities include designing company policies, overseeing the recruitment process, and setting objectives for the HR team. You will also help shape our employer brand strategy.

To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with HR tools, trends and best practices.

**Responsibilities**

You will be tasked with carrying out all projects resulting from the HR strategy given by the top management.

To accomplish your mission, the role can be divided into four categories:
**1. People Experience**
- Develop and Implement core people processes such as onboarding, off-boarding, leaves, and processes for international employees
- Organize learning and development programs
- Manage and update internal communication regarding HR related topics
- Design and implement company policies that promote a healthy work environment

**2. Administrative management of employees**
- Ensure that all internal processes are compliant with the Labor laws
- Develop compensation and benefit plans in line with the company's strategy
- Prepare all mandatory documents in terms of personnel management (employment contracts, social contributions, etc.)
- Oversee monthly payroll processes, and mend any discrepancies
- Be the point of contact for brokers including Health and Life Insurance, Pension plans etc.

**3. People development & management**
- Provide Managers with processes to follow, good practices to implement, and help them define the KPIs to manage their teams
- Closely monitor HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates and cost-per-hire)
- Define the recruitment strategy & its operational deployment
- Focus on developing relevant career paths, training, evaluation, and 360° feedback
- Implement individual and collective disciplinary procedures
- Act a business partner to the founders

**4. Recrutement**
- Implementation of an ultra ambitious recruitment plan: definition of the needs of the teams, design of the recruitment process and the tools to be used
- Inquire from department managers to forecast hiring needs and budget

**Requirements**:

- Proven work experience (+4-5 years) as a HR Manager or similar role, preferably in an early stage environment
- Relevant academic degree (BA or MSc) in Social Law or Human Resources
- Mastery of all areas of Human Resources management: recruitment, training, social and labor law, career management, payroll, etc.
- Mastery of HR software/tools
- Versatility
- Sense of discretion and confidentiality
- Excellent verbal and written communication and team management skills
- Fluent in French and ease in English, both written and spoken
