Licensing Approvals Coordinator

**Poste**:
Within the Licensing team, you will support the Approvals Manager in their daily missions, who is responsible for routing product approvals from licensee to licensor and managing assets. You will work with the whole Licensing team, licensors in Japan, as well as external creative agencies.

Your principal missions will be as follows (non-exhaustive list):

- Assist in providing creative and design support to the Licensing team (such as creating brand decks, building licensee pitches, building licensees’ best practices, reports, mocking up product designs, creating marketing material)
- Support asset selection, style guide/asset development, product development, marketing materials across the Licensing business working in partnership with licensors, agencies and sales teams
- Participate to licensing design and concept approvals process for assigned titles
- Maintain close relationships with the leading merchandising licensees in all major product categories
- Stay current with appropriate merchandise offerings/trends across all retail channels and across territories and countries
- Ensure compliance between licensed products and Bandai Namco branding guidelines and quality standards
- Manage regular communication between licensor and licensee on brand specifications and style guidelines
- Work closely with various internal teams to support marketing and design to promote Bandai Namco properties
- Assist with developing/updating brand presentation materials as needed to inform licensors of key initiatives and secure approvals
- Work with marketing/PR/community team to support licensees, and to improve the sales opportunity of the licensed products
- Provide most updated assets to partners
- Handle administrative duties including shipping/mailing, digital/physical filing and logging of products
- Report on a regular basis infringing products to the anti-piracy & legal teams Participate in the development and improvement of brand insurance procedures

**Profil**:

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree, majoring in product management, product development or Design
- Proficiency with Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- High proficiency with English
- Skills in using Photoshop and/or InDesign is appreciated
- Interest in video games, pop culture, retail and Consumer Products
- Organizational and time management skills

Location: 15 rue Félix Mangini, 69009 LYON (this position is not eligible to full-remote working)

Contract: full-time internship for 6 months (no work-study program)

Start date: August 2024

Remuneration: dependent on degree level (from 700€ up to 1,100€ per month)
