Project Expeditor

Intertek, a leading provider of ATIC (Assurance, Testing, Inspection and Certification) Services, for its Industry Services Division is looking for a Project Expeditor for a project based at supplier in Paris area.

**Poste**:
Dual Expediting and Quality Control skills are required for this position.

As a member of the Supply Chain team on a case, the Project Expeditor / Quality Controller is responsible for ensuring that suppliers comply with

all contractual milestones for orders negotiated by our purchasing department

He is responsible for coordinating all actions relating to equipment inspection and quality control between Suppliers,

Engineering and Purchasing to ensure that the equipment, materials, services and services ordered are delivered in compliance with specifications

of the affair

Based on a criticality analysis and the drafting of a quality control plan (ITP), an overall inspection schedule will be established which will be kept up to date.

The equipment concerned includes:
1. electromechanical equipment (pumps, compressors, etc.)

2. instrumentation,

3. valves, piping and accessories, metal boilerwork

4. electrical equipment

Missions:
As part of a “Business Expediting” Service, the HOLDER must:

- Ensure control of contractual deadlines associated with the equipment ordered (Quality level QC1, QC2 and QC3),
- Review the contract (Standards, technical specificity, etc.), Acknowledge receipt of the order
- Carry out a complete documentary review (that of the supplier and that of the main contract)
- Produce a progress report in relation to the contractual schedule, monitor the detailed progress of manufacturing, update the schedule according to the findings
- provide a progress report on the supplier's sub-orders
- take stock of the required tests,
- review packaging and shipping instructions,
- Manage various problems, analysis of possible delays,
- Follow up with suppliers on the deadline objectives to be achieved
- Inform the management of the case (Supply Chain Project Manager (SCPM) and the Project Manager (PM)) of any delays highlighted
- Keep the progress of orders up to date in order to identify any possible deviations from the initial delivery schedule and propose corrective actions
- Establish a weekly summary of the most critical points on the case or “Warning Sheet” with proposals for corrective actions responsible for the

SCPM / Buyers / PM / or Suppliers & others)
- Organize Expediting missions to suppliers
- Develop indicators on supplier deadlines and/or corrective/preventive actions, definition of priorities and suggestions for reducing deadlines
- Provide supplier statistics mainly for KPIs on supplier deadlines monitored in Expediting coordination

Deliverables:

- Expediting report(s)
- Update of an Expediting tracking table and the SCPM Dashboard of orders tracked
- “Warning Sheet”

**Profil**:
As part of an “inspection and quality control” service, the HOLDER must:

- Ensure the review and validation of suppliers' quality control documents: quality control plan, test procedures, welding procedures,

certificate of conformity, etc.
- Coordinate other quality inspectors who may be involved in the matter and ensure that they have complete and up-to-date documentation available to them, inspection of equipment, materials and services
- Monitor the lifting of reservations and inform the SCPM for coordination with the teams placed under the authority of the PM

Ensure for equipment ordered on contract, the quality required by the contract mainly for:

- Quality of work (welding, coatings, etc.)
- Compliance with plans
- Conformity of the results of controls and tests (according to values specified in the particular technical specifications) + applicable standards and rules of the art in force in the countries concerned.
- Manage the monitoring and resolution of non-compliances
- Various specific points required by the inspection program

Deliverables:

- An Inspection Report and a CIF (Final Inspection Certificate) are drawn up to authorize delivery to the construction site
