Head Host

As a Head host/hostess at Les Bateaux Belmond, A Belmond boat, you are on the frontlines of providing exceptional luxury hospitality experiences through knowledgeable and welcoming interactions with guests. **Primary Responsibilities Include**:

- Provide training, coaching and support to other Host/Hostesses
- Take responsibility for all hosting services on board
- Welcoming guests and providing them with personalized assistance and information throughout their stay
- Offering a comprehensive knowledge of French Gastronomy, including cheeses and wines
- Providing thorough cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and polishing surfaces, paying close attention to detail and ensuring that cleanliness standards are met or exceeded
- Taking pride in impeccably preparing rooms for incoming guests through cleaning, and replenishing linens, towels, and amenities to create a welcoming and luxurious atmosphere

**What You Bring**:

- Excellent customer service skills; ability to greet guests, handle inquiries, and provide assistance in a courteous and efficient manner
- Friendly and attentive demeanor; ability to answer questions and ensure a positive experience for guests
- An eye for detail to ensure that rooms are properly cleaned, supplies are replenished, and any maintenance issues are reported
- Hospitality experience in a luxury environment.
- A respect for guests’ privacy; upholding professionalism and integrity when handling guest belongings with care and maintain confidentiality regarding guest information
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
