**Your role**
We are looking for a payroll and tax specialist to strengthen our finance team in the Netherlands. We are looking for someone with a dynamic & can-do attitude, who loves to organize and structure things, is a strong project manager, has excellent communication skills and loves working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.

Your responsibilities include the following activities:

- Collaborate with HR on the monthly payroll run, checking the data provided by HR and ensuring its accuracy in implementation by external payroll provider
- Build and maintain relationships with payroll provider, tax advisors, and vendors for eg., pension and benefits
- Ensure tax & year-end statements are generated, accurate and communicated in time
- Lead approval and payment of expense claims using the expense platform
- Prepare monthly payroll reconciliations, journal and accrual reports
- Support finance team with month-end close and reporting activities related to payroll and expense claims

**Your profile**
- You have a Bachelors’/HBO degree or equivalent with 2-3 years of experience
- You are proficient with the Microsoft suite (Excel, Powerpoint etc) and are a fast learner of new tech tools. Experience with Netsuite would be a plus.
- You possess excellent communication & collaboration skills.
- You are able to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
- You can work well under pressure and are able to prioritize the right things. Experience with working in an international, fast-paced environment is a plus.
- In your previous experiences, you have demonstrated strong ownership of your projects and are resourceful in getting things done.
- This role requires presence in the Eindhoven office for a minimum of 2 days per week (with the option of also working from our Amsterdam office).
