EMBL Grenoble specializes in fundamental research in structural biology, and in developing state-of-the art instrumentation, methods and services. The site is located on the dynamic European Photon and Neutron science campus (EPN campus), together with other international and French research institutions.

For our laboratory in Grenoble, we are looking for a Building Technician to work as part of our Building Services Team on a full-time basis (39 hours per week) for an initial 6-month contract.

Your role

Working under the direction of the Building Manager and the Head of Administration the following are the main tasks:

- Multi-technical maintenance, servicing and repairs: carpentry, locksmithing, plumbing, high and low voltage electricity.
- Scientific laboratory and office furniture and equipment moves.
- Miscellaneous manual work.
- Other various tasks

You have
- General maintenance training or electrical training.

You might also have
- Welding skills would be a plus.
