Within Manutan International, the Group Purchaser is in charge of Supplier Relationship Management, deploys portfolio purchasing strategy to reduce total cost of ownership within the markets is responsible for.

The Group Purchaser is working closely with different departments and Sister Companies to ensure the best balance between Quality, Cost, Leadtime. He manages an assigned Group Portfolio made up by group and local suppliers.
- Portfolio Purchasing Strategy

Define and deploy purchasing strategy on assigned supplier’s portfolio, use segmentation to seek new growth levers, define priorities, manage risks

Use segmentation to seek new growth levers, define priorities, manage risk (dual, multi-sourcing), improve profitability, seek automation or rationalize portfolio etc
- Supplier Market Intelligence

Manage a supplier market survey, build a sourcing pool and list new suppliers to support & secure growth
- Negotiation

Prepare and manage your meetings, improve profitability by seeking TCO opportunities (sourcing, tenders, price, back-end program, logistic optimization, cost-avoidance etc., follow-up meeting action plan and savings
- Secure business

Anticipate risks on assigned portfolio, formalize agreements throughout the purchasing process, guarantee supplier’s commitments (agreed marketing budget, end of year rebate, deliveries, another extra budget etc.)

Key Competencies

\- You have skills in finance and analysis, as well as in negotiations and commercial relations.

\- you are product-oriented and pragmatic

\- You enjoy teamwork and are familiar with project and contract management.

\- Very good knowledge of pack office (a good level of Excel is essential)

Language(s)

English fluent is mandatory, French is a nice to have, other European languages will be a plus.

Location

Gonesse - 95 - France The position requires you to be available for regular travel within the group, in Europe (around 1 per month or every 2 months).
