Security Officer

**Duties**
- Define Information Security and Business Continuity strategies and standards
- Contribute to the development of the organisation's security and business policies

**Eligibility criteria**
- Nationality of one of the EU Member States or Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein or Switzerland and you enjoy full rights as a citizen;
- Level of education which corresponds to completed 3-years university studies.

**Selection criteria**

Professional competencies
- Ability to develop, implement, maintain, patch, upgrade and test cybersecurity products and IT infrastructure, as well as to harden IT solutions;
- Ability to assess and anticipate potential risks and vulnerabilities, take proactive actions to mitigate those risks and to avoid potential service disruptions;
- Ability to understand the information security architecture and validate its integration in the lifecycle of IT systems;
- Ability to understand IT infrastructure architecture and designs;
- Ability to understand, implement and coordinate the entire lifecycle cybersecurity monitoring and incident management, including the necessary resources while ensuring business continuity;
- Ability to draft and implement standards, security conventions, procedures and processes related to cybersecurity monitoring and incident management and/or IT Infrastructure operations and maintenance;
- Ability to follow and understand evolving technological developments in the field of Cyber Security;
- Strong drafting, proof-reading and communication skills in English, both orally and in writing, at least at the C1 level.

- Ability to define and communicate requirements and/or policies across various audiences and get their buy in;
- Ability to develop positive business relationships in a diverse stakeholder environment while displaying understanding of their different contexts and perspectives;
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills, maintain a clear overview of multiple tasks and an ability to prioritise towards deadlines and focus on key objectives

Advantageous competencies
- Relevant security certifications;
- Experience in highly available IT infrastructure administration;
- Professional experience in a multicultural environment, preferably in an EU institution, agency or body

Pay: From 5,453.02€ per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in 67100 Strasbourg
