**Intern Test Engineer - Job Description**

**Role Description**
We are looking for an intern to work on the upgrade of the DEBIAN10 Operating System, at the end of support, on our test benches currently deployed on our production site at Plexus in Malaysia.
**Location**
Rennes - France
**What you will be doing**
- Define the most suitable Operating System (Debian11, Debian12, Ubuntu) in partnership with IT
- Check that existing functions are supported
- Adapt functions not supported by the new OS
- Demonstrate each adaptation by comparing results
- Development of selected solutions
- Management of security aspects
- Generate a script to easily upgrade stations in production
**What you will need to succeed**
- Good knowledge of : Linux and Python
- Autonomy in software development using Linux and Python
- Adaptability, rapidly acquiring new skills as required
- Enthusiasm and curiosity
- Methodical and conscientious
- Spoken and written English
