As GSI Environmental & Sustainability manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the environment and sustainability programs and approaches of the GSI Business line. GSI consist of Grid installation products on different execution scopes, like turnkey project (TKP), consortium partner (EPC). From Civil Work to end commissioning for Onshore and offshore activities around the world, and to several factories locations to define, produce and deliver our GSI products called PDG (Product delivery Group).

**Essential Responsibilities**:

- Be central point of contact for ESG & Sustainability topics, coordinating with relevant functions and responding to stakeholder requests.
- Develop GSI Sustainability strategy & vision based on materiality assessment with key stakeholders, and in alignment with wider GE Vernova.
- Lead and maintain the environmental program for GSI.
- Lead and develop environmental strategy for compliance approach with regions and PDG.
- Support and drive the GSI regions to establish sustainability management plans for GSI projects with the sustainability guidelines, processes & frameworks.
- Represent GSI in GE wide initiatives, programs and goals like Carbon Neutral Operations, Science Based Targets and ESG
- Lead data collection, internal verification, coordination
- Lead/coordinate/support decarbonization and Sustainability efforts in GSI operations and value chain
- Secure internal GSI stakeholder engagement / alignment / buy into Sustainability initiatives.
- Coordinate deployment of GSI specific Sustainability strategy, track and report progress to central team and key stakeholders.
- Support commercial teams in customer responses for Sustainability information.
- Foster employee engagement and educate and inspire internal and external stakeholders on Sustainability.

**Basic Qualifications**
- Master’s degree in business management, Sustainability, environmental engineering or other academic field from an accredited college or university discipline
- Experience in GRID industry or in power generation industry.
- Experience in sales & commercial function or strategy / management consulting
- Fluent in English, French/German/ would be a plus.
- Customer oriented
- Ability to work with cross-functional and cross-business teams
- Contemporary IT skills
- Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills; integrative team working style, able to work into a multi-cultural environment
- Ability to make decisions with limited or conflicting data
- Strong rigor in reporting and documentation
- Ability to manage multiple transactions and priorities simultaneously
