**Assistant Registrar for Transfer Credit and Curricular Changes**

DUTIES:
- Transfer Credit Coordinator:
- Subject Matter Expert in evaluation and judgments regarding University evaluation of incoming transfer credits.
- Works closely on a regular basis with departments and external sources to establish course equivalency consistencies and professionally-appropriate transfer credit practices.
- Sets up semester intake and workflow processes in conjunction with Admissions and Advising for maximum efficiencies in support of students.
- Consults professional resources, contacts other universities as needed and attends professional development to stay current with higher education trends and practices in transfer credit approvals.
- Receives official transcripts from other universities & prepares transfer credit documents for upload and final review. Includes review of transfer credit evaluations conducted by their colleagues.
- Analyzes official & unofficial transcripts from other universities, & checks accreditation and credit systems. Prepares transfer credit equivalencies documents in a timely fashion for incoming & transfer students, assigning credit in line with University policies and best practices.
- Works to publish AUP advanced placement equivalencies to provide ready access to incoming students, checking regularly with AUP departments for consistency.
- Manages, processes, and tracks all External Credit Pre-Approval requests: Follows up as needed on petitions and manages document tracking within policy-defined University deadlines. Approves requests for open electives, ensures proper document storage within student records, monitors receipt of official external transcripts and processes addition of approved, completed external courses to AUP transcript.
- Curricular Coordinator
- Oversees Academic Catalog maintenance and editing updates, in close communication with Associate Registrar, University Registrar and faculty members as needed.
- Oversees Learning Outcomes updates from faculty and ensures changes are processed.
- Updates degree worksheets annually, and coordinates review with departments and Advising.
- Tracks and implements changes forthcoming from CC and GLACC Committee.
- Team Lead for Student Onboarding
- Oversees and manages student onboarding processes.
- Manages and coordinates Check In procedures for incoming & returning students.
- Manages follow up tracking to ensure all students are accounted for following the close of Drop/Add.
- Registrar’s Office representative for Orientation Committee. Coordinates Registrar Office staffing at Orientation as part of committee duties.
- Assists with New Student Registration as needed.
- Coordinates the BA/MA processes and works with Admissions, Advising and Graduate Programs to ensure smooth processing.
- Commencement
- Assists the University Registrar & Associate Registrar as needed with the preparation and organization of the Commencement Ceremony.
- Other duties as assigned in support of University Registrar, Associate Registrar and general needs of the office.
**Salary**: From 2,500.00€ per month
