He/She
will be:
- Responsible for controlling Feuquieres manufacturing operation, ensuring that production quality and costs target are met
- Control production costs and productivity, including developing, managing and controlling budgetary process.
- Keeping alignment with the other H&W production facilities in terms of cost reduction, process standardization, quality and EHS standards and supply chain optimization.
- Responsible for supply chain management including manufactured and sourced products with a specific focus on inventory level optimization.
- Responsible for coordinating the 3PL integration within all Operations functions.
- Recommend capital investment in production equipment with the objective to set the right production capacity with the most efficient production costs
- Supervise quality, health and safety programs with the focus of providing a safe working environment for all employees
- Manage production and supply chain to guarantee excellent service level to customers
- Manage implementation of operation improvements projects and programs and Plant technologies innovations
- Supervise staff, maintain employee relations and ensures plant rules are followed
- Cover a strategic role within unions relations in partnership with HR
- Keep an open an proactive communication with the workforce in partnership with HR
- Education:_
- BS / ME / EE / B Eng. degree in engineering, or a related field
- Experience:_
- Industrial, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical, Electrical Engineering background
- Experience with a continuous process discipline such as Six Sigma, Lean or equivalent.
- Min. 3-5 Years of positions with increasing levels of responsibility in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience of:_
- Cost reduction and continuous improvement projects
- Knowledge or experience of manufacturing engineer, facilities maintenance and quality.
- Solid project planning and management skills, using standard project management tools.
- Proven collaborative and participative management skills are essential.
- Lean Certification an asset.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
