We are looking for a Cyber Defence Manager You will be based at The Island, our office in central Paris.
Your key missions:
The SOC Manager is a senior member of the Cyber Security team and responsible for the overall design of the SOC service. This includes the definition, the tool selection and deployment, the creation of procedures, the measurement of the SOC service and the communication and collaboration with the Cyber Security team leadership.
You will lead the definition of the SOC service:
Through the definition of use cases, data sources, alerts and resolution processes, the SOC Manager will be responsible for building a holistic view of the SOC service.- Define and document the scope of the SOC services, use cases and data required to support those use cases.- Continuous improvement of SOC services as conditions in market or scope of Pernod Ricard IT services and solutions evolve.- Ensure SOC services are scalable and can grow to meet future needs of Pernod Ricard.- Ensure all IT devices are covered by the SOC service.- Ensure logging and alerting is set appropriately across all IT devices (cloud and on-premise)
You will be responsible for selection, recommendation, configuration of SOC tools:
Together with the CISO and CSO of each region, the SOC Manager must evaluate, recommend, and select tools and partners for the Security Operations Center.- Identify gaps in our tool set and research and recommend solutions to fill the gaps.- Understand tool configuration and recommend the optimum configuration for Pernod Ricard, and manage implementation of those tools.- Evaluate partners that can help deliver the SOC service.
You will process creation and management for SOC Analysts to follow:
Using the knowledge from the first 2 missions, the SOC Manager will be responsible for creating new procedures for the SOC Analysts to follow.- Identify gaps in our processes and procedures, engineer the missing processes and establish a continuous improvement loop for our processes.- Develop and design automation using SOC tools and/or IT tools with the objective to bring faster execution of remediation steps and to ease manual workload on the SOC Analysts.- Ensure standards and procedures are globally consistent and applied across all incidents and regions.
You will measure the effectiveness of the SOC Service:
The SOC Manager will be responsible to recommend and gain acceptance from the CISO and regional CSO’s on the set of KPI’s that will be used to measure the effectiveness of the SOC services.- Design reports that effectively communicate the KPIs to various stakeholders.- Engineer the extraction of the data used to support the KPIs.- Develop processes to keep the reports updated and accessible to various stakeholders.- Research, recommend and manage testing of the SOC service, for example using Red teams or penetration testing.
You will Communicate, Collaborate and Educate:
The SOC Manager will be an important face of the Cyber Security team. This position will be required to collaborate, influence, educate and strategize with various members of IT and external partners.- Collaborate, influence, and strategize with CISO, regional CSOs and IT technical teams.- Educate SOC Analysts on tools and processes upon initial implementation.- Collaborate with Cyber Specialists as needed to support investigations that need escalation.- Collaborate, negotiate, and instruct external partners as needed.
