Technician, Electronics

**CAMECA** is a world leading supplier of microanalytical and metrology instrumentation for research and process control. Our instruments measure elemental and isotopic composition in materials down to atomic resolution and equip government and university labs as well as high-tech industrial companies around the world.

As an Electronics Technician you will be attached to the Electronics Production Manager, your main mission is to provide fully operational electronic sub-assemblies to production and after sales service.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES

You are responsible for:

- Provide electronic assemblies that are tested, tuned, compliant with specifications and ready to be integrated into instruments ;
- Test and repair specific electronic assemblies for production and after sales service ;
- Identify and upload firmware on specific ICs;
- Create and maintain test benches ;
- Write instructions and test reports ;
- Train people from other services.

QUALIFICATIONS
- BTEC Higher National Diploma in electronics ;
- At least 5 years of experience in similar field (production/troubleshooting in electronics) ;
- Knowledge of technical English is required ;
- Fluency in fluent English required.

GENERAL SKILLS
- Good understanding of all areas of electronics (analog, digital, very low currents and high voltages) ;
- Ability to analyze and diagnose ;
- Curiosity about technology ;
- Fluency in a multidisciplinary environment ;
- Reactive, rigorous, autonomous and dynamic.
