Propulsion Technician

Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.

As a talented Propulsion Technician, you will be a key member of our propulsion test team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Preparing test benches for operations including undertaking pre-test and post-test inspections.
- Operating and maintaining hardware, high-pressure systems and other ancillary equipment required for the test bench.
- Executing test sequences and procedures, identifying issues or areas for improvements.
- Monitoring and supporting the inventory of test equipment and supplies required for test operations.
- Collaborating with engineers to develop and document activities.
- Identifying and documenting maintenance actions that may be required.
- Supporting troubleshooting activities in case of identified anomalies.
- Performing a variety of related duties in support of acceptance and development testing, as well as testing site-wide, as needed.

**What we would love to see from you**:

- 2 years of experience in the field of bench testing and measurement technology.
- Experience with testing process and optimization of test processes.
- Collaborative and successful team player.
- Individual with a good sense of responsibility and reliability.
- Experience in ground support equipment in aerospace industry is a plus.
- Strong language skills in English.
- Programming knowledge would be a plus (Python experience will be considered as an advantage for the role).
