Within engineering department of Train & Passengers organization in Villeurbanne, the purpose of the job is to deliver an IT wayside sub-system solution to our customer. This IT wayside sub-system, which can be on customer servers or in the cloud, ensures the train operation through a communication channel between the train and the ground system (Wifi/4G/5G ).
RESPONSABILITIES:
Accountable to reach QCD commitments for his/her own Domain/Metier
He/she is the direct technical interface with the Internal or External Customer for his/her own Domain/Metier.
He/she is the direct interface with TC&IS department to analyze & report project gaps versus standard architecture
Main responsibilities are: Provide specification / design / validation monitoring solution until customer acceptance
Check that external interfaces are consistent with his/her Sub-System
Supervise and participate in the System deliveries (requirements, System documentation, Performance)
Contribute to the definition of the functional validation phase of the sub-system.
Ensure that all Domain / Metier activities follow Quality processes.
Support Project Engineering Manager and Project Manager to ensure full transparency of Project Engineering Work package QCD performance (including physical progress) at all times, in line with standard reporting requirements.
Report and share progress and results all along the development cycle.
Highlight Risk and Saving opportunities to Project Engineering Manager and Project Manager during development cycle of the project.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
Master Degree in Engineering in IT/Network /Electronics
Experience at least 5 years in an industrial environment
Knowledge in ITIL process, IT management, Cloud based architecture, and SaaS agreement
Experience of management in a IT design project
Signaling and railway system architecture is an add-on
Rigorous
