Textile Area Sales Manager

For a French-based Company with an unique experience in the field of coating, an expertise which combines substrates and functionalisation to achieve technical performances.
The Company involve in every step of the production cycle, from conception, to manufacture, to marketing. Predicting upcoming trends in both national and international markets allows us to develop new and technically innovative substrates in different areas : protection, entertainment, decoration, sun protection, dimming, print media, visual communication, events and architecture. On top of offering top quality products, our excellent organisational and logistics teams ensure that we can supply substrates to our customers quickly and efficiently.
**Purpose of job**
The Area Sales Manager achieves the business targets, financial and organizational set for the organization.
**Main Mission (MM)**
MP1: Achieve business targets and guarantee sales revenue and profitability in the short and long term.
- Achieving the set business targets for the country, including Sales, Profitability, Market Share, Product Strategy, Customer Satisfaction, Growth, etc.
- Assist in defining commercial plans and setting annual budgets, business plans and objectives: volumes, products to push, to abandon or to launch, key customer priorities, pricing policy, promotional actions.
- Assist in controlling and analyzing costs and risks and proposing solutions or new actions to management and finance.
- Assist in handling budget preparation in relation to the profit margin of Company standards and its corresponding updates along the year.
- Assist in establishing monthly projection of the costs and incomes, analysing variations and proposing new commercial action plans.
MP2: To drive and monitor development of consistent business and commercial strategies.
- Identifying commercial issues or opportunities and leading analysis and recommendations to business strategic thinking and direction.
- Developing competitive vision and intelligence and analysing trends, opportunities and risks on markets and business lines.
- Monitoring the different means and actions to leverage business and cross-selling.
- Defining local communication, promotion and commercial events in direction of customers or partners and monitoring directly in compliance with Company communication strategy.
MP3: To support commercialization of product portfolio.
- Supporting the tactical day-to-day sales operations, handling sales inquiries and generating sales report.
- Analyzing updated market information and identify product feature requirements and implementing new methods or new potential client
**Specific Conditions**:
Frequent travels, trade shows involvement.
**Specific skills**
- Extensive knowledge of the garment industry in general, preferable with garment manufacturing knowledge and experience
- Bilingual French/English
- Established commercial network, and networking skills.
