**We’re hiring a Legal Counsel in Paris.**

Join us in this small team as Legal Counsel and you will have the opportunity to develop yourself within a fast-growing scaleup in a rapidly changing industry.
**The Legal team**:
Our team is made up of six Legal Counsels and a General Counsel who are responsible for overseeing legal aspects of solar projects, including those involving roofs, ground, water, noise barriers, and carports. They also provide general legal advice and support to other departments, in addition to setting up new business ventures.
As a proactive and enterprising Legal Counsel in France, you will work closely with our Legal team and be an integral part of an international client team tasked with developing and realizing large-scale solar projects on rooftops. Collaborating with
colleagues from operations, commerce, and finance, you will provide legal guidance to ensure successful project execution. Your role at the heart of the organization will require you to take full ownership of your responsibilities.
**As our Legal Counsel, you will be**:
- Responsible for legal guidance for large rooftop projects;
- Supervising projects of the French department. This concerns regular processes (from LOI-lease agreement-permit-subsidy-real rights), as well as tenders and takeovers;
- Negotiating and drafting various agreements (e.g. leases/engineering, procurement and construction agreements/power purchase agreements);
- Taking up various ad-hoc questions from within the organization;
- Helping set up new business, such as energy storage.
**This is you**:
- You hold a law degree;
- You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in the legal or notarial profession, with a strong background in real estate/project development;
- You have experience in real estate and a solid understanding of energy law, tenders, and/or environmental law (bonus points if you do);
- You are incredibly accurate and pay attention to details;
- You're confident and have excellent communication skills to bring to the table;
- You're practical, stress-resistant, and no-nonsense - we need someone who can stay cool under pressure and tackle challenges head-on
