We are looking for an experienced Procurement Professional f/m to join our local Indirect Procurement team based out of Rouen, at Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray (76).

As Industrial Buyer, **you will be responsible, **with the local purchasing team,** for all indirect purchasing activities.** You will thus play a pivotal role in helping our local teams in France to manage different vendors and their purchases.

You will be responsible for national spend in France and but also delivery of Global Procurement initiatives across several category areas, aligning to the wider global team.

These are commodities that you can potentially handle: line components and production consumables, capital machinery-tooling-prototype, test equipment and laboratory services, plant engineering, utilities-energyrecycling, information technology and telecom, general supplies and services, packaging, logistics.

You will directly report to the French Indirect Procurement manager and working daily with various country teams.

What you'll do_**
- Deploy a strong specification culture in the organization to succeed your purchasing process (From Technical needs to Financials & Commercial requirements), work with various teams to understand what items are needed.
- Provide price and contract negotiation expertise when participating with cross-functional teams - regarding planning, cost savings leverages, contract tactics, bids, terms, and ISO compliance.
- Draft, create, manage, and receive RFI/RFQ/PO for goods and services.
- Be responsible for negotiating, structuring, and/or administrating contractual documents that establish business relationships with vendors.
- Reduce as much as possible single source, drive cost down and track record of delivering demonstrable savings and efficiencies which impact the bottom line.
- Identify potential risks contract changes may pose to company and work with Legal department to structure contracts, analyze contracts to ensure compliance to company policy, government speci8cations and other requirements.
- Communicate with, update vendor records, proceed to new vendors creation, rationalization of vendors list, onboarding, setup new items, update actual item database.
- Work closely with various teams and vendors to ensure that non-divulgation of information, compliance and sustainability are strictly followed.
- Provide direction on issues within your area of expertise to internal customers and assists department leadership in setting strategic direction and their budget.
- Manage the contract database and maintain contracted pricing in our ERP system, as well as monitor contract’s expirations and milestones, ensure relevant documentation accompany contracts and maintain digital copies of all business-critical documentation.
- Other tasks can include improving the actual ordering process (digitalization) & supporting our auditing teams in various tasks related to vendors management.

Your profile_**

Senior Professional in Procurement or Engineer specializing in Purchasing / MBA-type degree

You will have minimum 5 years’ experience of sourcing, procurement, negotiation, and category management (Direct or Indirect), preferably within automotive industry. You will so be autonomous to drive multiple indirect purchasing categories with mínimal supervision.

You have a strong negotiating, problem solving, multi-tasking, time management, communication skills to open discussion with different departments to get things done.

Your analytical, your rigor and the clarity of your information will allow you to flourish in this position.

Fluent in french and english - german will be appreciated
