A vacancy for a **Telecom Project Manager (M/F)** has arisen within** Airbus Defence and Space (ADS) in Elancourt. You will join Secure Communications Program Line (SC).**
**This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.**

Multi-Domain connectivity, Telecom services, Information systems and network-centric services business with European Governmental / Defence organisations, and also with European Space agencies has hugely increased these last 3 years. EU Governmental and Defence business in this connectivity domain is key for ADS/SC.
For this reason, Secure Communications is looking for an experienced Telecom Project Manager, able to drive a team in the design, development and delivery of advanced telecommunications infrastructures projects and services, including IT/Infrastructure system design and delivery, Software-defined network-based solutions, digital platforms development and deployment. You will have to lead IT projects for AIRBUS DS (ADS) in a European institutions/agencies business environment.
SC/EMEA Export Programs entity is dealing with international environment, with project management of large and complex projects, for Secure Communications EMEA-related customers. EU, ESA, EDA EUSPA are among key-customers in innovative and strategic business for Secure Communications.
**You'll work in close coordination with Engineering, Sales and Strategy**. SC/EMEA Export Programs entity is also deeply involved in IT/telecoms or satellite communications bids and strategic campaigns support. As such, the requested Telecoms Project Manager will have a central role in the bid teams and bidding activities, as Program representative.
The requested Telecoms Project Manager will also work in close interface to other business units and support functions within ADS (e.g. Space Systems, Engineering, Legal, Commercial & Contract, Sales, Procurement, Quality, Finance ?). You will be in an international environment, coordinating work-package managers and support functions, mainly localized in France, Germany, Italy, Spain and UK.
This position will require a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
**Tasks & accountabilities**
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
**Project management**
Planning and delivery of the project, i.e. of its successful achievement under its technical, schedule, performance, quality, and financial aspects, at the customer and stakeholders' satisfaction. You will be responsible for staffing, workload management, resource anticipation and request, as well as managing potential conflict and priorities.
Running the project and delivering the related objectives and associated business case; ensuring delivery on time, on quality, on cost.
Develop and execute the IT/Infrastructure / SATCOM services project for the European customers. Contribute to the growth and direction of multi-domain connectivity solutions and services within EMEA business
Ensuring a fruitful relationship with key internal and external partners leading to an efficient industrial collaboration
Being customer interface for the project and interfacing with both EU customer representatives and consortium industry partners, in support of Sales, Strategy, Commercial & Contract and Business Development.
Ensuring that results fit the technical, financial and schedule KPIs for the project. Especially, responsible of financial results for the project (Revenue, Project Margin and Cash); responsible to support Sales regarding Order Intake results.
Ensuring project reporting to HO TCSGS Export and EMEA management, as well as efficient coordination across Connected Intelligence (CI) organization and management
Feeding solutions/product teams with feedback from customers and innovative ideas. Contributing to the Secure Communications portfolio, especially in the scope of Cloud/IT infrastructure.
Development of a team, foster a high-performance culture, and lead people effectively through changing context.
**Bid management involvement include**:
Assessment and validation of the Programmatic/Delivery part in the SATCOM bids
Support to the bid management, being the program representative, ensuring Delivery plan (PMP, Acceptance, schedule, staffing/OBS, WBS?) and risk assessment within the bid team.
Ensuring consistency between the project/study execution and the Contract T&Cs, in support to the Commercial and Contract org. within the bid.
