1 / **MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB**

Responsible for operational and project-based assignments. Duties include but not limited to systems configuration, break-fix, updates, upgrades and day to day management of infrastructure-based hardware and software environments. Responsible for incident and request queues, On-Call duties, and system changes The Administrator will be the bridge between the technician level 2 and the engineer team.

Direct report for this position is the Infrastructure Manager France

2 / **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSABILITIES**
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization
- Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
- Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure.
- Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures.
- Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
- Utilize strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills related to computer and software technical issues.
- Team collaboration is a must, as this role will interact directly with every level of the organization, prioritizing the needs of individual team members and the organization within their daily duties.
- Inventory tracking and provisioning via Microsoft SSCM/Intune, Azure
- Arrange service by software or hardware vendors to repair or replace defective products.
- Develop and communicate department projects, implementations, and goals.
- Maintain knowledge of technology innovations and trends
- Monitor vendor communications and sites for updates, patches, firmware.
- Adhere to standard process and policy (change control)
- Performs other duties as required.

3 / **REQUIREMENT AND SKILLS**

REQUIREMENT:

- Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required.
- 3-5 years of system administration
- Analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- System administration and IT certifications in Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus

HARD SKILL
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows
- Experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
- Experience of database optimization
- Experience in managing of VMware vCenter servers.
- Experience with scripting and automation tools
- Experience of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
- knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
- knowledge in setting up centralized monitoring and logging systems (Zabbix, Nagios, solarwinds)
- Experience in Ticketing systems (ITSM)
- Experience with SCCM/Intune

SOFTS SKILLS
- Good communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team (France, Maroc, UK)
- A sharp learning temperament and be able to keep abreast of the latest industry developments in new technologies and IT practices.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Good level of English and French (understanding and being understood by interlocutors of all nationalities)

METHODOLOGY
- ITIL (a plus)
