**Duties and Responsibilities include the following.**
HID IAMS Business Area has followed a large SAFe deployed since the past five years. To continue improving our agility through effective collaboration and customer centricity, we are looking for a Release Train Engineer. In the Credentials ART, the RTE is expected to lead the train and serve its members. Its primary responsibilities will be:
- Manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART using the Program Kanban
- Set up and facilitate PI Plannings events
- Assist in tracking the execution of the Program execution plan
- Facilitate periodic synchronization events, Scrum of Scrums and PO Syncs
- Assist with economic decision-making by facilitating feature and capability estimation by teams and the roll-up to Epics, where necessary
- Coach leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in Lean-Agile practices and mindsets
- Help manage risks and dependencies. Escalate and track impediments
- Encourage collaboration between teams and System and Solution Architects/Engineering
- Work with Product and Solution Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to help ensure strategy and execution alignment
- Facilitate System Demos
- Drive relentless improvement via Inspect and Adapt workshops; assess the agility level of the ART and help them improve
**Qualifications**
- Good knowledge of SAFe Framework, in Portfolio configuration.
- Establish a solid SAFe environment within the team, strong capacity to detect and work on negative anti patterns
- Facilitate workshops individually with small groups, or collaboratively with large audience
- Coaching skills for relentless improvement, and help team members to grow
- Being able to contribute to community of practice
- Lead the Train for impediments removal, dependencies management, and improvement accountability
**Education and/or Experience**
- 5 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
- Certified SAFE Release Train Engineer or Certified SAFe Program Consultant
- 1 or more experience acting as a Release Train Engineer.
**Language Skills**
- Ability to communicate in French and English language.
**Computer Skills**
- Familiar with the usage of Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
- Facilitation skill for remote meeting with MS Teams and Miro
