You will be responsible for the following tasks:

- Designing and carrying out complex experiments involving solid/liquid/gas equilibria in anoxic conditions (flow/high pressure)
- Carrying out predictive geochemical modelling to design these experiments
- Comparing the experimental results with the modelling in order to improve understanding of the mechanisms involved and to be able to extrapolate them in time and space
- Developing innovative approaches in technological/conceptual breakthroughs within the team's multidisciplinary projects or themes
- Develop and maintain your national/international network of partners to initiate research projects (regional, national and European) and in support of public policies in relation to the themes described above and actively contribute to their implementation;

- (ii) the integration of water/solid/gas interactions in a continuum of experimentation/characterisation/modelling in order to meet the socio-economic and environmental challenges of the energy transition (e.g. storage of radioactive waste, gas storage for economic and/or environmental purposes, exploitation of useful substances in hypersaline and/or geothermal waters)
- (iii) the development of analytical techniques, coupled thermo-hydro-mechanical-chemical experiments and calculation codes to meet the research and development (R&D) challenges of public and private stakeholders,
- (iv) the development and implementation of techniques for the preparation and physico-chemical analysis, including crystallographic analysis, of soil, sediment, rock or mineral samples.
