**Role overview**:
In a context of strong company scale-up, you will take key responsibilities and manage the financials and legal of the company in all its aspects, from cash flow, planning, reports and dashboards, corporate and contracts legal.
You will have a day-to-day, ongoing impact on company operations, helping the company to analyze, strategize and grow its financial position.
You will report to the CEO, working closely with the COO, CSO, CHRO and senior management. This role requires leadership, clear and effective communication skills, highest standards of personal discipline, integrity, humility and ethics.
**Your objectives**:
- Organize company to next stage of development: build company’s financial and legal infrastructure and processes in collaboration with business, projects managers and R&D teams. In relation with IT team, select up to date software tools to ensure efficient financial and legal management.
- Co-develop the strategic financial plan for scaling, ensure that cash flow is compatible with company’s plans.
- Share insight and analysis across the management team and down into the organization so that decisions are made using sound financial data.
- Contribute to secure capital, loans and grants from the right financial partners
- Build and oversee the dashboard and reports and their communication and presentation to the board of directors.
**Your key responsibilities**:
We will entrust you with the following key responsibilities:
- Financial planning and analysis (FP&A)
- Work with senior managers to efficiently develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract/grant compliance and reporting.
- Ensure legal compliance (corporate, contracts)
- Prepare reporting to investors
- Assist CEO in capital fund raising and investor relations
- Propose the financial policy of company, according to opportunities. Optimize the mix between equity, debt, and grant funding where relevant
**Who we seek**:
You have a demonstrated experience in managing financials and legal, from day to day operational to long-term plans.
Your are recognized for your results orientation, proven execution capability and leadership with a wide perspective from financial strategy to operations.
You have an engineering or management school initial education, with preferably a proven record in deeptech or comparable technology high-growth companies.
