A live-in Domestic Couple is required for a 10-bedroom Provence Style Farmhouse in Saint Remy, France set on an olive farm. The house needs to run like clockwork and everything needs to be looked after.

**Duties will include (but not be limited to)**: _Duties to be shared between the Live-in Couple_
- Take responsibility for all aspects of the running of the house
- High level of thorough cleaning throughout the property, laundry, and stock taking (the property is rented on occasion)
- Cleaning product and household items stock using initiative and ordering more when stock is low
- Up-keep of furniture, art, china, silver, and crystal
- Ensure security of residence at all times
- Supervise and assist with the heavy cleaning tasks, both inside and on the terraces, around the pool, and general pool car
- Household maintenance
- Preparation of breakfast and simple family meals
- Working with the family Chef during the busier periods
- Ensure all household equipment including lighting and AV systems are in sound working order - thorough check to be carried out well in advance of family and guests arriving
- Liaise with external contractors
- Keep accurate household records and record petty cash expenditure
- Garden Maintenance (overseeing 3 Gardeners)
- Ensuring the garden is kept to a high standard
- Ensure vehicles are valeted and in good working order
- Drive Principal and guests as and when required
- Greet guests and ensure they have everything they need
- Unpacking and packing for Principal, family, and guests if required
- Ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards are adhered to
- Hire temporary staff as and when required
- Other ad hoc duties in relation to the property and the needs of the owning family as directed
- One of the Couple must preferably speak French
- Ideally you should both drive, but one driver is essential as driving (Airport runs etc) is part of the role
- You should be friendly, approachable, and flexible
- You must have a can-do attitude and make it a priority to ensure that all guests have as pleasurable stay as possible
- There is a staff car provided for business purposes, but you would need your own car for personal use

**Accommodation**: A comfortable, 2 bedroom private cottage is provided for this Couple

**Days of Work**: 5 days a week and many weekends working when the owners or guests are there, and very busy during the spring and summer

**Salary**: Gross circa €35,000-€40,000 each per annum, depending on experience
