**What **we're looking for**
We are seeking an experienced Product Designer to lead the design of intuitive and impactful user experiences within Medius Spend Management suite. You will be in charge of ensuring that product design vision not only meet but exceed user and business expectations.
This role demands a strategic thinker who can collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that embody user-centric design principles.

**Some of the tasks you will be **performing**
- You'll be embedded within a specialized squad, but keep working closely with our VP of Product Design.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers to deeply understand user needs and challenges by initiating or participating in user interviews.
- Conduct or participate in benchmark studies on competing solutions to identify industry best practices and innovative features.
- Work alongside Product Managers in problem discovery workshops to map out existing user flows and pinpoint key areas requiring refinement.
- Lead the ideation process within your team to explore multiple solution proposals, fostering a creative environment for discussion and innovation.
- Actively engage in the selection of the most viable solution that offers the highest value to users, considering the impact on different user personas.
- Design solutions in concert with your team, ensuring that the final designs align seamlessly with the defined use case scenarios.
- Be a reference point for teams in terms of user experience.
- Come up with ideas on how to continuously improve our products, and lead the projects your initiate.
**Requirements for the position**
- A strong portfolio showcasing a comprehensive design process and successful outcomes.
- Proficiency in managing the entire design lifecycle from discovery through to final delivery.
- Experience conducting or collaborating on user research.
- Expert knowledge of components and design systems.
- Passion for AI and what it can bring to the discipline.
- Proven track record of working effectively with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and communicating with development teams.
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to turn challenges into opportunities.
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously.
- **Languages**:
- Fluency in English (mandatory).
- French: Nice to have.
