Performs non-technical project completion using an internal customer perspective, typically from initiation through delivery. Coordinate cross-functional teams through meetings and progress measurement activity which bring distinct, specific projects to completion both on time and within budget. Survey Tip: This role has project management responsibility and no direct reports. This job manages specific projects that have a distinct beginning and end. Requires people and resource management through others; part of cross-functional team required to complete the project.

We are looking for a Project Management Office (PMO) expert to help us to optimise internal effectiveness and drive execution in support of our business goals and priorities.
Your key responsibilities will include building the PMO practice and standards, overseeing a portfolio of projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget, as well as ensuring adherence to and upholding standards throughout each phase of the project, from origination through to execution and launch.
**Your key role and responsibilities include**:
- Collaborate with stakeholders across your key programmes, in order to define, prioritize, and develop projects within the overall business area.
- Planning project management, including setting deadlines, prioritizing tasks, and assigning resources to various deliverables and thereafter actively monitoring project tasks and deliverables
- Creatively and efficiently solving problems as they arise in order to avoid delays and/or increased costs during project execution
- Overseeing the development of the project and ensuring that team members are carrying out their tasks efficiently while upholding the company's standards and values
- Drafting new and/or improving existing project management office policies, processes and templates
- Continuously evaluating projects to ensure they are meeting company standards, adhering to budgets, and meeting deadlines
- Accurately documenting the project's creation, development, and execution as well as documenting the project's scope, budget, and justification
- Reporting on project progress and managing risk across the program portfolio
**Knowledge, Skills and Attributes required**:

- Excellent ability to plan and organise, themselves and others
- Ability to effectively work with senior stakeholders within the business (including C-suite), with excellent verbal and written communication
- Highly self-aware of strengths and weaknesses and embraces failure as an opportunity for learning and growth
- Excel at both analytical and system thinking
**Preferred Academic Qualifications and Certifications**:
- Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- PMP, Scrum and/or other PMO Certifications or equivalent
**Preferred Experience**:
- Experience managing [insert type of programmes] programs in technology or global enterprise companies would be considered a big advantage
- Demonstrated PMO experience gained in similar environment would be considered a big advantage
- Proven ability to engage with senior stakeholders
- Demonstrated understanding of the project life cycle
- Demonstrated competency in project change management
- Proven experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints
