**_Who are we?_**
The Volvo AB Group Volvo is today one of the world's leading manufacturers of trucks, buses, coaches, construction machinery, marine and industrial engines. It is the world's second largest truck manufacturer.
Within the R&D departments, our team is responsible for the development of electronic and connectivity systems solutions at a complete truck level for Renault Trucks brand.
The System team gathers project managers, experts, and electronic architects. They constantly work for ongoing developments, and serial products maintenance, with the components (HW, SW) engineers in the other teams, the verification engineers, the truck feature managers at truck level, and Renault Trucks marketing brand representatives to elaborate future product roadmaps.
What will you be working on as a system and software engineer?

**You will be part of the System team, made up of highly qualified and versatile engineers, and you will contribute to all the Renault Trucks connected services development tasks.**

**_Main responsibilities:_**
- Map and deploy embedded connected systems technical architecture.
- Propose and contribute to identify Renault Trucks brand needs in services sold to end customers, based on analysis and treatment of data generated by truck embedded electronic systems.
- Support Renault Trucks roadmaps on the topic.
- Propose synergies with other group / brand products.
- Secure that development activities in electronics and connectivity are in place to support Renault Trucks roadmap.
- Be the connected services, back-office tools, and connectivity cybersecurity reference person.
- Be the reference person for tools allowing the development and maintenance of these products.

**_ Competences / technical knowledge:_**
- Telecom network, Android, Linux, Application Development Kits.
- Agile, Cybersecurity R155/R156.
- Truck embedded systems knowledge.
- General knowledge on product development process

**_ Profile:_**

_ability to conduct thorough analysis and comprehensive synthesis_. We expect you to be r
_eactive_, with strong interpersonal skills and effective communication, enabling them to engage with or manage an international network of engineers in the respective area. Additionally, the ability to articulate and share challenges related to the activity and adapt communication to various levels within the company is crucial.
_Proficiency in English_, both in conversation and in written form, is also a requirement for this role.
Occasional business trips to Volvo sites (Göteborg, Bangalore).
