**Experienced Field Expeditor - EDF - Located in South France**

KBR is looking for a **Field Expeditor** based in **Marseille, France** to support the **Hinkley Point C** **Project**.

The Field Expeditor will be integral in supporting the first nuclear power plant built in the UK in more than 20 years. They will provide support to suppliers in-country, while engaging with the Project Expediting Team in the UK.

- Expeditors must be fluent in English and French

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversight and management of delivery on a number of equipment packages, prioritizing any critical equipment/materials.
- Keep sufficient records of order progress, supplier performance and associated delays.
- Troubleshoot supply chain issues with contractors.
- Escalation of any actual or potential problems or bottlenecks affecting delivery or other activities
- Design and implementation of recovery plans as required.
- Represent the group at internal and external meetings.
- Report regularly on contract package status and manufacturing status, keep key stakeholders informed.
- Issue Expediting reports and pictures after Supplier premise visits.
- Track and challenge workshop physical progress and consistency with schedule
- Update the Expediting Tool with latest forecast dates and comments.
- Manage priorities in the factory, note and highlight any overarching concerns.
- Ensure inspection points are well managed and not holding up supplier in any way.
- Consolidate information and obtain manufacturer approval for Shipment Authorisation Requests
- Establish relationship with wider Expediting team, particularly on linked scope.
- Maintain awareness of wider project schedule requirements for contract scope (such as Site Need Dates)

**Qualifications/Certifications**

**Essential**
- Relevant College/University education degree
- Significant & demonstratable experience in Expediting
- EPR or international energy projects knowledge
- Demonstrable knowledge and background in mechanical plant equipment and manufacturing processes
- Understanding of Supply Chain Procurement, Manufacturing & Testing Level 3 scheduling
- Knowledge of the supplier documentation submittal and review process
- A working knowledge of integrated MRP/materials management systems
- General knowledge on Nuclear Pressure Equipment general requirements, RCC-M and RCC-E codes preferable
- Experience of optimization of production flow in the factories

**Preferred**
- EPR or international energy projects experience
