**The logistics manager is responsible for Sinova's logistics policy in France, and will lead the upstream (raw materials collection) and downstream (finished product dispatch) logistics teams in compliance with current regulations (health, hygiene, safety, quality). The role reports to the Regional Operating Director and is integrated in our international network of **logistics **experts.**

This position is based ideally in one of our "Grand Ouest" production sites (**Vitré, Les Essarts, Issé, Concarneau**). A strong mobilility to visit our French sites and headoffice in Paris is required, as also punctual travels in Europe.

**Core reponsabilities**:

- Design, lead and manage the division's logistics policy in France.
- Improve performance by implementing indicators.
- Draw up and monitor budgets.

**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Define and monitor logistics performance indicators for the monthly budget.
- Analyze KPIs quantitatively and qualitatively to shed light on cost differentials at different times of the year.
- Report to your superiors on the analysis of cost differential variances.
- Suggest ways of improving the operation and optimization of logistics and related resources.
- Monitor and challenge logistics budgets.
- Negotiate transport rates.
- Formalize and monitor contractual relations with various logistics service providers.

**Specific responsabilities on Safety**:

- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and participate in their development.
- Analyze and monitor road accidents and the resulting action plans.
- Ensure compliance with road safety regulations.
- Implement a standardized PPE policy.
- Make proposals to improve working conditions for collection and loading agents.
- Ensure that regulatory training is carried out.

**Specific responsabilities on Quality**:

- Report information and anomalies to the relevant departments.
- Monitor and deal with non-conformities in relation to logistics.
- Ensure compliance with upstream and downstream health regulations, and keep abreast of regulatory changes.

**Specific responsabilities on Communication**:

- Manage logistics communication.
- Participate in working meetings with other companies, inter-professional associations, supervisory bodies.

**Management scope**:

- Direct management of an "Upstream" Logistics Manager whose team consists of 4 Operations Managers and 20/30 drivers.
- Direct management of a Downstream Logistics Manager, whose team consists of 5 Customer Services Specialists.
- Manage all Upstream and Downstream subcontractors in compliance with budgets, procedures and quality standards.
- Participate in social dialogue with production site HR managers.

**Who will succeed with us in this function?
- Transport and logistics training - Bac +2/3.
- Knowledge of road, transport and rolling stock regulations.
- Knowledge of quality, safety, environment and hygiene. (describe the specific skills - technical, linguistic, etc. - required to achieve the objectives, and their level of mastery).
- Ability to communicate, lead and manage groups.
- Speed and efficiency in both diagnosis and execution.
- Team spirit.
- Reactive, rigorous, organized.
- Strong sense of service and contact (multiple interlocutors).
- Proposal-driven.
- Advanced English is a must to be involved in our international network.
