**We are looking for a Digital Excellence R&D Director to join our team**
Our **Business Group Faurecia Clarion Electronics** (FCE) activity is looking for a Digital Excellence Director H/F based in Paris (12th district, close to Cour St Emilion station, line 14).
Within our R&D center, you will be immersed in the heart of the developments of electronics products which will be installed in the vehicles of tomorrow to create the cockpit of the future
**You will be working on challenges that matter**
The Digital Excellence R&D Director is globally responsible to develop and execute the overall vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Digital Transformation in FCE R&D.
S/he belongs to the R&D organization. His/her scope covers all Faurecia Clarion Electronics products (infotainment, displays and ADAS). R&D projects consist of pre-development, RFI, RFQ, development programs and serial life.
**Your main missions will be**:
- Develop and execute vision, strategy, and roadmap related to his/her scope.
- Drive the Digital Transformation of FCE R&D in close collaboration with the FCE Digital & AI Transformation Director, Forvia Group functions and Hella.
- Identify the needs and oversee the selection, definition, development, and implementation of engineering tools, automation frameworks, and workflows.
- Organize, lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, specialists, and project managers to drive innovation and excellence in engineering practices. Directly manage several global team managers driving their own scope, namely Engineering Tools & Processes, Digital Transformation, Cybersecurity, and Functional Safety.
- Collaborate closely with other teams in FCE R&D as well as with program management, quality assurance, purchasing, IT and legal.
- P&L responsibility for her/his perimeter
- MSc degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields
- 15+ years of experience in R&D in regulated industries such as automotive, aerospace etc.
- In-depth knowledge of engineering tools, methodologies, and process improvement techniques; knowledge in GenAI, functional safety, and cybersecurity principles is a plus.
- Experience in software development in the automotive industry
- Ability to develop vision and strategy and to transfer them into concrete actions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills; fluent in English.
- Successful leadership and team management in a technical environment.
- Comfortable and having a broad experience in working across cultures and in geographically distributed teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
- Proactive and innovative, advanced problem-solving skills
