**Purpose of the job**:
The mission of the Advanced Maintenance Analytics (AMA) team is to improve the performance of Alstom products in terms of maintenance costs, availability and reliability, through the design, deployment and validation of Analytics Strategies.
As a Digital Maintenance Engineer, you will define Analytics Strategies at system or subsystem level, by gathering customer expectations, matching them with realistic proposals (in interaction with Data Science and railway systems experts), and balancing the implementation effort with the forecast benefits.
**Main Responsabilities**
- Identify business and operational expectations from customers in terms of maintenance, which could be fulfilled by analytics. Turn these expectations into requirements, to be used with external suppliers and internal departments
- Set business targets and coverage: maintenance optimisations, penalties reductions, perfomance improvements
- Define Analytics Strategy to address the requirements, covering data-capture choices and algorithms (supporting AMA Data Scientists)
- Produce, update business cases templates and reference documentation to highlight the value proposition
- During tenders, manage requirements internally and with suppliers, assess potential gaps, adapt business cases and Analytics Strategy and deliver tender documentation to ensure successful bids
- During projects, support execution with changes management (including, but not limited to, investigation of unforeseen equipment behaviour), suppliers management, data labelling, user training and project handover to regions
- Manage pilots or proofs of concept (exploratory approach), when assessing relevance of using analytics for new subsystems
**MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES**
**Educational Requirement**
**Mandatory**:Engineering School graduate, Master of Science or equivalent
**Desirable**:Major in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science and/or Mechanical Engineering
**Experience**:

- Experience in Maintenance industry needs and operational constraints
**Desirable**:
- Experience of Rolling Stock or Railway Signalling products/subsystems
- Familiar with notions of condition-based maintenance (CBM), prognostics and health monitoring (PHM)
**Competencies & Skills**:
