**General Position Summary**:

It is the intersection of sports fan, fashion and culture with basketball as its backdrop. Since our first store in 1998 in New York we have been known for this premium retail experience. Providing officially licensed product of the NBA from on court wear to team apparel is what we do. We are the destination for all your favourite player jerseys, training product, hats, team wear and collectables. If its in the NBA you can get it at The NBA Store.
**General Description**:
**Principle Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Receive and verify incoming product; enter into computer system
- Load and unload shipments
- Stock product
- Ensure that products are priced correctly
- Accurate pulling/packing orders for shipping
- Assist in counting of physical inventory
- Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness
- Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for all associates
- May sweep, dust or mop the warehouse area

**Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Count, verify and receive inventory into computer system
- Sort and place product in proper rack locations
- Inventory maintenance including cycle counting
- Perform other general warehouse duties and responsibilities as required
- Maintain a clean, efficient and safe work environment
- Support and adhere to the Loss Prevention program
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned, such as assisting on the sales floor
**Job Required Knowledge & Skills**:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as many stockroom items are cumbersome and heavy
- Experience working in a fast-paced sales environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a high level of physical exertion for extended periods and working primarily while standing
- Experience with software such as Microsoft Excel and other company spreadsheet programs
- Typing and record keeping skills essential to maintaining accurate information for managers and supervisors regarding stockroom inventory
**Preferred Job Required Knowledge & Skills**:
- Ability to problem solve quickly and prioritize daily tasks according to their importance
- Personal accountability and integrity are essential, as a stock clerk has access to valuable inventory
- Experience working safely with stockroom ladders and tools is preferred
- Interpersonal skills are essential, as working as a team is vital to maintaining an organized stockroom
