Reporting to the Logistics Manager, this role is focused on ensuring the efficient running of the assigned warehouse in compliance with GDP requirements and all internal policies/ SOPs as well ensuring the sufficient supply of inventory and stock submission on a monthly basis.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Monitoring stock levels at assigned Biocair warehouse as well as at domestic/ international agent facilities so that assurance of supply for all packaging systems and equipment required for Biocair’s packaging services are provided at the desired time and in the desired manner.
- Ensuring replenishment orders are placed in line with supplier lead times to guarantee mínimal stock levels are always maintained.
- Maintaining all reusable packaging systems to include receipt scanning, inspection of components, cleaning and conditioning. Capture any non-conformities/deviations and escalate to relevant contact.
- Reporting stock levels on a monthly basis to the respective contacts in the Finance department in accordance with the set deadline.
- Preparing packaging as per Customer Service/ Operations department’s instructions and assisting the orders/packaging dispatches so that they are processed in the most cost effective and timely manner to meet customer timescales/requirements.
- Organising, monitoring and controlling goods in/out operations to ensure all "live" shipments are held/stored in the designated areas and all shipment logs are up to date and accurate.
- Investigating "service" failures, identifying root cause and implementing effective CAPA to prevent recurrence.
- Identifying improvement opportunities to bring about operational efficiencies, cost reductions or service enhancements and implementing accordingly.
- Providing a safe and clean working environment, adhering to Biocair Health & Safety procedures at all times, ensuring these are understood and practiced by all persons accessing the warehouse.
- Ensuring adherence to Conditioning Gel Packs and Conditioning PCM procedures so all packaging specifications can be provided to clients in a timely manner and to maintain integrity of all cool chain solutions.
- Ensuring fridges, freezers and warm room temperatures are checked and remain within prescribed parameters and maintain accurate records thereof and replenished on a regular basis and when required.
- Ensuring that all Biocair/customer specific work instructions/SOP's/warehouse security procedures are adhered to at all times and maintain 100% compliance to applicable regulations.
- Performing relief Driver cover for collecting and packing customer shipments for research samples, clinical trials medicines and other pharmaceutical and healthcare related products. Transporting time critical and temperature sensitive consignments, in a safe, careful and timely manner, whilst maintaining the highest level of customer care. Ensuring the correct documentation is completed and processed at time of shipment delivery and collection.
- Complying with, and implement as required, all security policies and procedures applicable to your role and location (including Shipment, IT and Information Security).

**In addition, you will demonstrate these key competencies**:

- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
- French and English language skills (verbal and written).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, the ability to manage your won workload and multi-task to manage competing business demands whilst delivering against tight deadlines.
- Resilience, the ability to show initiative, build strong working relationships across multiple teams and be a true team player.
- Experience of working within a cold chain or time sensitive multimodal freight forwarding or pharmaceutical industry (ideally in a logistics setting) is advantageous.
- A valid Dangerous Goods qualification (ADR) is desirable.

**Please note that this is a non-cadre, full time role at 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:00 based from our Cormeilles-en-Parisis office (95240).**
