Human by nature.- We are looking for an Operational Buyer covering productions sites in Switzerland and Italy. This position is based in Avignon, France and reports directly to the Naturals EAME Raw Material Planning Manager.- You will:
- Coordinate the Pre Shipment Sample (PSS) together with Site Quality, Warehouse and Global Purchasing
- Create raw material orders (PO) from our global suppliers following raw material planning requirements
- Follow daily order confirmation and delivery status with suppliers and global purchasing to ensure security of supply
- Solve raw material availability problems with raw material and production planning
- Manage all supplier documents related to raw material deliveries and digital archiving
- Review supplier invoices, check for discrepancies with suppliers and global accounting and release them for approval
- Coordinate inbound logistics and inbound customs with support from the customs department
- Manage supplier performance regarding confirmation, on-time delivery (OTIF) and quality defects
- Manage ERP master data
- Identify, suggest and implement continuous improvements across the supply chain
- Primary Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business Administration, Logistics or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in procurement/supply chain preferred
- Experience in the flavor, food or fragrance industry preferred
- Technical Skills:
- Language Skills: English, both spoken and written. Italian and German is a plus.
- Excellent partner management, building and maintaining relationships, proactive, challenging and structured team player
