- Overview
- Performs all types of HT&P DS jobs, including training of TDW employees, Channel Partners and End customers. Fluent in English, is a nice to have to travel extensively (>75% - 90% in France)- Responsibilities- Achievement of HT&P jobs according to safety and quality TDW requirements (60%)- Assists the customer in planning and coordinating use of tapping and plugging equipment for safest and most efficient completion of projects,
- Supervises the handling, assembly, operation and disassembly of TDW HT&P equipment during field operations, keeps up-to-date on all equipment maintenance and operational procedures to ensure safe, proper maintenance and use of equipment and satisfactory completion of the job,
- Complies with TDW and customer HSE standards and procedures, and stops any work utilizing TDW equipment when unsafe conditions exist that threaten equipment, property damage or bodily injury,
- Provides consultancy to the customer for all necessary preparation needed for a safe and accurate job execution, including but not limited to lifting and transportation equipment, excavations, scaffolding, etc.,
- Arranges and supervises the equipment preparation for the job-site;
- Provides HT&P DS training (15%)- Performs DS Equipment training in EH West for TDW Employees, Channel Partners and Customers according to the standards and programs established by the Training group, including theoretical classrooms and practical tests, in Workshop or on-site,
- Prepares customer training session by updating regularly training material, test vessels and equipment required, engaging Engineering and Commercial Operations departments.
- Administrative and maintenance follow-up (15%)- Draws up and undersigns all the documents required by customers to confirm the job completion,
- Upon completion of each HT&P job, prepares a report detailing equipment performance results and other essential data, summarizes completed reports, time and job tickets in a timely manner,
- Prepares and submits expense reports in accordance with established procedures,
- Works in the workshop in equipment preparation/maintenance and stock management as required by the management,
- Performs other tasks as may be required from time to time by upper management;
- Through on-the-job training and individual study, gets prepared for the next level of technician certification.
- Experience- Technical graduate combined with 3 to 5 years of experience in a mechanical field,
- Has acquired knowledge and skills required to obtain the certification level corresponding to Field Technician, Senior and Master, as stated in the Knowledge/Skills Inventory section of the Technician Training Manual,
- Is capable of training and mentoring less experienced technicians, channel partners and customers.
- Willing to travel extensively,
- Good communication skills in English and French.
