**The team you'll be part of**

Our Business Group is a leader in wireless mobility networks and associated services. With more than 3.500 patent families essential for 5G we have a strong 5G portfolio and are a front runner in open and virtualized radio access networks (O-RAN and vRAN).

You will be part of the Baseband and Soc Development Unit, in charge of developing the NOKIA base stations to be used for future 6G cellular networks. The activities performed by the electro-mechanical development team cover the following areas: Placement and routing of printed circuit boards, development of mechanical parts, management of technical files and component libraries, as well as modelling and thermal simulations.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

As Technical Leader, you will be the local technical referent and primary Point of Contact of our electro-mechanical development team for any topic related to the definition and development of the mechanical parts of our products and you will work in collaboration with other Emech teams in Nokia (EU, China) and with teams responsible for the electronic design, in order to meet the applicable product specifications (physical constraints, power dissipation, mechanical resistance, electromagnetic protection, cost and industrialization).
- As an experienced HW designer, your role will be to lead the development and modeling in the CAD environment of the mechanical solutions in interaction with the digital HW development engineers and you will simulate the mechanical constraints.
- You will interact with the other teams and their managers within the BB&SoC organization in France and in other countries in Europe, China and North America.
- Your will be responsible for drafting project documentation (technical files, detail and assembly drawings, parts lists, assembly analysis, etc )

**Your skills and experience**

You are a graduate mechanical engineer with at least 5 years of successful experience in development in a mechanical design office. In addition:

- You are rigorous and have a good team spirit
- Curious, autonomous and proactive, you demonstrate a good sense of analysis and synthesis and a good capacity for anticipation.
- Your French and English is fluent and you communicate easily in an international environment.
- You are familiar with the PTC CREO 3D CAD development chain (for mechanical design), with Siemens Mentor XPedition PCB Design environment (for PCB design) and with Siemens Simcenter Flotherm XT environment (for thermal simulations)
- You have a good knowledge of part production techniques (fine sheet metal work, thermoplastic and aluminium injection) as well as electronic environments (thermal and electromagnetic constraints).
- Knowledge of thermal and RDM simulation tools would be a plus.
